Enjoy the clubhouse pool and hobnob with the other visitors or retreat to the privacy and comfort of your own personal heated pool and spa within the fully screened-in lanai surrounded by lush gardens that lie just through the sliding glass doors outside your bedroom.
This home features not one but two master bedroom suites both fully appointed with walk in closets and fully equipped bathrooms. Both suites open directly to the pool and spa area enclosed within the screened-in lanai and the surrounding gardens.
From the large great room with its vaulted ceilings and plant shelves to the spacious fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and a formal dining area, the villa is luxurious yet relaxed. Besides the two master suites the beautiful guest room offers that comfortable Floridian feeling and the second guest's room (fun room) is the kid's favorite. With four bedrooms and a den the home has plenty of room so you can find some personal quiet space when you need a moment alone. The den (also able to become a bedroom) is a wonderful place to read a book or just relax away from the group. Three full bathrooms make it easy for everyone to get ready for adventure. All the appliances are new and the washer and dryer room help keep your beach towels in top shape. Then there is the screened lanai with its outside dining area complete with covered BBQ area, dining table and chairs and ceiling fan and of course just beyond the magnificent pool and gardens. We love our home.
Within just minutes of our villa there are endless miles of white sandy beaches considered to be some of the finest beaches in the world. Relax and enjoy a stroll along the beach warming your toes in the incredibly warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico or just sit and watch the dolphins go by.
Naples is the Golf capital of the world with the PGA and LPGA both being headquartered here. There are more golf courses per mile in Naples than anywhere else in the world. Many of our Golf courses were designed by people like Greg Norman or Lee Trevino to mention just a couple. A set of gentlemen and a set of ladies golf clubs are included for your use. Tennis is just a few steps away in our three lighted, Har-Tru private courts. We even include the rackets. If you like to bike (really easy in Florida since there are no hills and plenty of bike lanes) we have available a small fleet of new bikes for your pleasure. Boating, fishing, kayaking and an incredible array of other sports are all available within 10 minutes or less from our home.
Naples offers many outstanding fine dining restaurants and lounges. Several offer waterfront dining with unforgettable sunsets overlooking the beaches of Naples, Florida. Stylish and innovative restaurants with fabulous food and wine abound. There are also lots of casual places to eat all featuring great cuisine and great prices.
UNDERSTANDING THE NAPLES AREA
Naples area accommodations range from 5 start hotels to personal homes. Homes, Villas and Condos offer you the best value for the money HOWEVER, where they are and what is next to them is all important. Below is a Goggle Maps showing the locations and distances.
The areas private accommodations can be broken up into a few categories
Large Luxury homes directly on the beach. Very expensive probably over $1,000 per day and a lot of noise but the views are stunning and the beach is right there.
Downtown condos just off the beach. Old, smelly and small rooms but they rent for a lot of money because of the beach and downtown proximity. Some new Condos have been built further north but they are too far from anything. If you are bringing children AVOID condos. The retirees really become obnoxious when kids want to play around by the pool etc.
Private homes along Shore drive or near it. These are so called "West of 41" houses. Walk
to the beach... Sure but in a dilapidated area with horrible noise, traffic and slumming people living right next door. Sure the house may look good in the pictures but wait until you see the horrible neighborhood.
All of the above offer as their main value proximity to the sea. Surely if all you want to do is go to the beach all day and walk around the same neighborhood all night they will do. But the USA is BIG, everything here involves distance and anybody who would tell you to come to Naples without a car is telling you to miss most of it.
Private homes and villas in deed restricted communities. These are the best value. You get a great luxurious home, and lots of first class amenities. However, WHERE the home is counts for a lot. Most of these communities are very far from the beach and downtown. Places like Lely for example will take you the better part of 20 minutes to get to downtown during peak traffic. So
if you are not solely into golfing (they have some great golf) it may not be right for you. Briarwood is another very nice community but it is so far from anything because the Naples Airport is between it and down town so the drive is extended due to the traffic lights so much so that you may have to resolve to just stay in the villa all holiday.
So what you are looking for is a PRIVATE luxury home, with all the goods, (heated pool and spa, tennis, etc), in a PRIVATE community, (Also offering lots of goodies, such as sauna, exercise rooms, club house, heated communal pool, etc), that is not more than 3 to 5 miles from the sea and down town. Also keep in mind that most adverts express distance as the crow flies (a straight line) but you don't fly, there is a lot of traffic in Naples and the traffic lights in Naples are notoriously long. Use Google maps to see ACTUALL driving distances. When we were
shopping for our home we visited 246 properties on both sides of Florida. In Naples we visited homes at every great community, and made test drives to the beach from them etc. We concluded that these communities and the homes in them are all so nice that anyone would enjoy a holiday in any of them BUT we ended up getting lucky and getting a great home in a wonderful community with all the amenities and only 3.9 miles to the sea, (feet in the actual sand) and 3 miles from the beginning of 5th Avenue South.
When evaluating a place for location in Florida we recommend you measure everything in terms of how far it is from 5th Avenue South as that is the heart of Naples. Some adverts may refer to being so many miles for downtown Naples but Naples is BIG and the REAL downtown is on 5th Avenue South. Some adverts will say, we are just a couple of miles from downtown Naples AND the beach. That could mean 2 miles from some obscure area of Naples and 10 miles from the beach. On this Google Map we have marked the common communities so you can best see where they are. You can click on each icon for more details, even on the marked routs for distance information etc. You can use the controls on the left of the map to zoom in or out to get more details.
